I wrote this on my facebook status last night.
Tonight, I was at a worship service while my husband, Ben, was at home recording the sermon for tomorrow's service in Second Life. It was raining when he came to get me. He got out of the car to put the umbrella over me, but he didn't have to. He shows me so much of what unconditional love is!

And did not the Lord anoint you king over Israel?18 Now the Lord sent you on a mission, and said, ‘Go, and utterly destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are consumed.’19 Why then did you not obey the voice of the Lord? Why did you swoop down on the spoil, and do evil in the sight of the Lord?” 20 And Saul said to Samuel, “But I have obeyed the voice of the Lord, and gone on the mission on which the Lord sent me, and brought back Agag king of Amalek; I have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. 21 But the people took of the plunder, sheep and oxen, the best of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice to the Lord your God in Gilgal.”

Saul disobeyed God! He blamed the people for the plunder, sheep, and oxen. If he was a TRUE leader, he would have taken responsibility!
The Lord sent Samuel to Jesse where he anointed David king.

Thankfully, God sees all of creation from the human to the blade of grass as beautiful.
If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I am glad that God sees me differently than other people do. His opinion of me should be the only one that matters.

Remind me that beauty is not just outward, but inward. Beauty is on the outside only when the inside is beautiful.

Ezekiel 36:26-31
26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. 28 Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God. 29 I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. I will call for the grain and multiply it, and bring no famine upon you. 30 And I will multiply the fruit of your trees and the increase of your fields, so that you need never again bear the reproach of famine among the nations.31 Then you will remember your evil ways and your deeds thatwere not good; and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight, for your iniquities and your abominations.
