Thankfully, God sees all of creation from the human to the blade of grass as beautiful.
If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I am glad that God sees me differently than other people do. His opinion of me should be the only one that matters.
Heavenly Father,
Remind me that beauty is not just outward, but inward. Beauty is on the outside only when the inside is beautiful.

Philippians 2:1-4 Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, 2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.
"It's better to get more excited about what others are doing than what we are doing. Do I spend time thinking about "the interests of others"? Do I get as excited about what God is doing in and through a friend as I do about what He is doing through me? Do I long to see others grow in grace and find success, though it may have been my efforts that made them prosper?"
